The Idea and the Ideal

Go as far as you may
To the stars high up and earth beneath
In the moon and the sun
In the air and the space
All space filled invisibly, with,
This energy masked by manifestation.
In delusory subjugation we let ourselves down
'Coz, we have lost the key to the heart
The seat of faith, food for soul.

We stumble and stumble
Searching Him far far away
And, we find Him not in our hearts.
Because he who sees through the eyes
See Him not, as the basis of his vision.
In all that is seen and in unseen
In that which is filled and in hollowness
In space beyond the reach of eyes
In the rocks, trees, animals and in humankind
And, between the walls and pillars of many houses
Churches, Temples and Mosques
He lies still engrossed in His own play
And, the dissected mind portrays
Him to be different here, and different there
He is now here, and yet appears as if He is no where!
But, beads that appears separate in a garland
Strung together by a single thread
The thread we hardly see.

The divine invisible is everywhere
But, in creation He speaks His language.
The idea is evident and clear
The ideal makes it happen.

Relationship

In my absence that makes time tender
The heart grows fonder.

In my presence that makes time solid
The heart is cut asunder.

Is this my fault?
Perhaps it is not.

Is this your fault?
Perhaps it is not.

Is this our fault?
Perhaps it is not.

Is this God’s fault?
Perhaps it is.

What mystery does this relationship holds?
Ages and till now it remains untold.

Contradictions

Neither was
Neither is
Neither there
Neither here

Yet we say
God is!!

Silence of meditation

In the fullness of emptiness
Silence of meditation fills my being.
Twining with nature
My existence from miniature grows grandeur.
This moment a heavenly dream
I am lost in silence.

Let’s make poverty smile.

What can words bring?
What can lamentation achieve?
It is in this world we all together breathe
In ignorant the ties we cut asunder.
The thinning line of selflessness
Finds joy in selfishness
And, we throw money to buy soul
And, the tears of the poverty.
We leave marks of our soles
In their homes that we call slum
Yet they call us their blood
But, we shun them
Saying our blood is different.

Soul defiled
Wither goes humanity?
The devils we befriend many times
The divine we come across but occasionally
Thus when there are tears of poverty
Let us coat the poverty with smiles
And leave with the joy all over our heart.

Endlessness of a beginningless

Piercing the endlessness of time
I search for the lost Thee
Within my eyes, You see Yourself clearly
Yet I see not that, but the world external.
Within my ears, You sound Yourself finely
Yet I hear not that, but the sounds external.
Within my nose, You stuff Yourself fragrantly
Yet I smell not that, but fragrance external.
In the water as bubbles You appear to me
In the sea as waves You rush towards me
In the river as current You flow swiftly
In the mountain as might You stand strongly
In the hills as beauty You capture the paining heart
In the wilderness as mystery, You wildly touch me
In the universe as smile, You render me mesmerized
In the fire as heat, You warm me during cold
In the children as innocence, You pass through me
In humanity as Love, You sustain me ever
In the creation as existence, You camouflage well.

Breaking the clustered mind
I venture in search of Thee,
I am undoing the senses slowly
I know I shall find You one day
Hiding within the soul, which I am
Then I know separation shall cease
no more I, and no more You
but only Existence.
