The Sky

The sky yonder a blanketed mystery
A witness silently potent
Stares piercingly at the expanding universe,
From the beginning till the end
The sky unmoved remains unfathomable.
The glittering stars though dotted
Scattering across the wide firmament
Not one can claim with pride of its glitter
That it has the sky touched by its shining rays.

The earth
The galaxies
The moons
The suns
Wrapped neatly within the sky’s gaze
Yet they have always been a distant apart
Arts and poetry, sciences and philosophies
Try hard to prison the sky In images and words
In aloofness the sky shies away
Higher than all, mightier it rests above time.

Masking a limited appearance
It has always been limitless
The shore of the universe the sky shall always be
And in endless endlessness, the sky smiles endlessly.
