Fighting the waves

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth
Tying us from one end to the other end of it
Between birth and death we fight the waves.
Depending on the winds of destiny and effort
With rudder the wind shall take us far rightly
Without rudder we risk our lives snatched swiftly.

To stay on course for a fight till the end is the goal
Between the peaceful moments of sweet smiles
And destructive discords of painful thoughts,
Until then the last breathes we serve with care
Not to hurt any, nor be hurt by any at any moment in life
Like blossoming lotus we must breathe the love ever,
Till the day come for us to say proudly
“I have fought the battle, and I worry not a little”
And, proudly relinquish the vested physique
To extend our wings across the universe.

  1. Very fine poems here, Cyclops :)

To see life as a battle...drains me out; so i just like to flow with it...yet, there are things we keep tackling,

and the previous poem -- reminds of Maya Angelou poems, which ends saying "I keep dying because I love to live" -- maynot be a verbatim; or may be....the intent is :)

    wishes,
