Roam the streets in
50 years the chain been broken
Away from the grips that colonize.
The land is ours as we march across

Our flag raised 50 years ago
Still going high
To the cares of the wind above
With whispers and shouts of MERDEKA.
Lets Malaysia MERDEKA.
